Pamstech House CAFS is an African institution dedicated to strengthening the capacities of organisations and individuals working in the field of population and development, and reproductive health in order to contribute to improving the quality of life of families in sub-Saharan Africa. CAFS conducts courses and provides research and consultancy services. The centre's training programmes focus on advocacy, behaviour change communications, interpersonal communication and counselling, curbing the spread of HIV/AIDS, gender and empowerment, management and leadership, youth reproductive health, and population and development. It also provides technical assistance services that cover programme evaluation, organisational development, programme development, IEC material development, training programme development and operations research. CAFS also functions as a hub for exchange among the national programmes within sub-Saharan Africa and between Africa and the international scene at large.
