Vrolikstraat 453 - D WGNRR is a world-wide autonomous network of groups and individuals that jointly aspire to recognise and protect the reproductive rights of women. The network was established in 1978 and has been growing ever since. In 2001, it consists of 856 members plus 845 subscribers of the WGNRR Newsletter in 157 countries on every continent. The profile of WGNRR can be found on this website. The newsletter of WGNRR is the main vehicle for the sharing and exchange of information throughout the network. It also provides a reference point for members and provides visibility to the network. Each newsletter attempts to cover a selection of relevant information and articles. For example, the theme of newsletter 70 (#2, July 2000) is on violence against women. The newsletter is published in English and Spanish, and as of 2001 also regularly in French.
