WORKSHOP ON
EFFECTIVE WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT, INVENTORY AND DISTRIBUTION

Reproductive health supply chain performance is greatly enhanced through the integration of functions such as procurement and warehouse management. Implementation of standard warehouse management processes provides significant potential for reducing product expiry and loss as well as reducing training and infrastructure costs.  It was the understanding of this principle, ICOMP would like to propose a training workshop on effective warehouse management, inventory and distribution to enhance the overall reproductive health commodity supply chain management

OBJECTIVES:
1.  To train / orient participants on the international standards / guidelines for effective warehousing.
2.  To enable participants to recognize the importance of an organized and effective warehouse storage system.
3.  To enable participants to know and appreciate the modern trends in warehousing in order to provide fast and accurate reproductive health commodities management.
4.  To enable participants to learn the use of inventory management in warehouse management.
5.  To enable seminar participants to adopt the different warehouse procedures and best practices in warehouse management to minimize the operational costs.
6.  To share country experiences, review warehousing situation in the participating countries and prepare a work plan for action.
